In the unlikely event that the school needs to close in an emergency circumstance, we will communicate this in the following ways:
- A notice on the website
- Announcements on local radio stations
- ParentMail - there may be delays due to use by many schools
We aim to place these notices as soon after 7.00am as possible.
In the Event of Adverse Weather
During the winter months, we aim to keep the school open. However, conditions may make this unmanageable.
Sufficient staff may not be able to travel to college or conditions at the school may present a significant risk to the health and safety of students. In such instances, the procedures stated above will be implemented to communicate any closure or change to the normal arrangements.
