Student Admissions

If you believe your child could flourish as part of our Frogmore family please see below the process for applying for a place.

Year 7 Main Admission Rounds

For the main admission round, which is when you want your child to start with us at the start of year 7, all admissions are managed by Hampshire County Council.  You can find their guidance about how to do this here.  Further information about admission to Frogmore Community College can be found in the policy document for the relevant intake year below.

The closing date for main round admissions is 31st October.  All on-time applicants are sent notification of the outcome of their application on 1st March.

Parents who do not make an application for their child to start secondary school by the deadline of 31st October will need to submit a LATE application.  A paper application form can also be requested from the County Admissions Team.

Non-Hampshire residents must contact their home local authority for an application, even if they wish to apply to a Hampshire school.

In-Year Admissions

Parents who are seeking to transfer children who are already in years 7-11 at another school need to telephone the school and speak to Mrs Henden or use the county’s application online or paper form.

If families are moving into the local area from within the UK or overseas, applications should be submitted once exchange on a local property is secured or a rental agreement is in place.

For residents of other authorities in England please contact your local authority.

Waiting List

Waiting lists are operated by the school. Any places that become available will be allocated according to the criteria of the School Admission Policy.
