Curriculum Overview
At Frogmore Community College, our curriculum is designed to be broad, balanced, and ambitious, providing all students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to succeed in school and beyond. We are committed to delivering a high-quality education that inspires curiosity, fosters a love of learning, and supports every student to achieve their full potential.
Our curriculum is carefully sequenced to build knowledge over time, ensuring students make strong progress in a wide range of subjects. In Key Stage 3, students study a full range of disciplines, developing a secure foundation across the humanities, languages, sciences, the arts, technology, and physical education. This provides the breadth needed to discover strengths and interests before making informed choices for Key Stage 4.
In Key Stage 4, students follow a core curriculum alongside a range of option subjects, allowing them to personalise their learning while maintaining a strong academic foundation. Our pathways are designed to support a variety of aspirations, whether students are aiming for further academic study, technical qualifications, or future employment.
Beyond the classroom, our curriculum is enriched through extracurricular opportunities, personal development programmes, and experiences that build character, resilience, and confidence. We place a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and oracy across all subjects, ensuring students develop the essential skills needed for future success.
Our aim is to provide every student with a curriculum experience that is engaging, challenging, and inclusive, preparing them to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
