Emergency Closure

We aim to keep the school open wherever possible, however there may be occasions when conditions make this difficult or unsafe. This could be due to staff being unable to travel safely, or because conditions on site present a risk to the health and safety of students.

In the unlikely event that the school cannot open for the day, we aim to communicate this as soon as possible using the following channels:

• Email via Arbor
• Updates on our social media pages
• A notice on the school website

If the school needs to close after the school day has started, we will follow the same communication procedures outlined above to inform parents of any closure or changes to the normal school day. Students will be released from school in line with our emergency closure policy and the consent you have given.
