Welcome

Welcome to Frogmore Community College

As the new Principal of Frogmore from September 2026, it is a pleasure to warmly welcome you to our school website. Frogmore is a warm, ambitious, and forward thinking school where our expert staff take the time to know every student as an individual. We are committed to delivering exceptional teaching in every lesson, every day.

This is an exciting moment in Frogmore’s journey. Since joining WMAT in 2024, and since becoming Interim CoPrincipal alongside Matthew Venton in April 2025, Frogmore has embraced positive change to ensure we serve our community with the highest standards of education and care. I could not be prouder of the work ethic, resilience, and commitment shown by our students, staff, and families as we move forward with purpose and pace.

Frogmore is an inclusive school where academic excellence and character development are valued equally. Our mission is simple: to ensure every student leaves us with the qualifications, personal attributes, and confidence they need to thrive, both now and in the future, and to make a positive contribution to society.

We are a warm and welcoming community, and this website can only offer a glimpse of what makes Frogmore special. If you are a prospective family or a professional considering joining our team, we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.

“Every Student. Every Potential. Every Success.”

At Frogmore, we are committed to equity, excellence, and the personal development of every student. Our dedicated staff take a genuine interest in each young person’s learning, well‑being, and aspirations, ensuring every individual is supported to achieve their full potential.

Ofsted captured this ethos during their visit in February 2022, awarding us a ‘Good’ judgement and noting:

“The school is a happy and friendly place to learn. Pupils say they feel that they belong.”

“They feel well supported and cared for by staff.”

We are proud members of the WMAT family, serving communities across Surrey and Hampshire. The Trust also includes the i2i SCITT, enabling us to train and develop Early Career Teachers in-house.

Since joining WMAT, we have:

  • Strengthened teaching and learning through shared expertise across the Trust
  • Enhanced facilities and resources to support learning and enrichment
  • Introduced innovative programmes to support well being and personal development
  • Expanded professional development for staff, ensuring our team continues to grow and excel

Looking ahead we are excited about the future of Frogmore. Our ongoing development plans include:

  • Evolving our curriculum to offer further contemporary, broad, and inspiring opportunities
  • Investing in new technology and learning spaces to support creativity and collaboration
  • Growing partnerships with our local community and WMAT schools
  • Strengthening student voice and leadership so every child feels empowered and included

Our staff collaborate twice weekly in carefully designed professional development sessions to ensure our teaching is inclusive, research informed, and responsive to students’ needs. Key subject areas benefit from Trust Directors who coach and support teams, ensuring we draw on the full strength of WMAT expertise.

Our students are the best ambassadors for Frogmore. They speak passionately about the care, opportunities, and high‑quality teaching they receive every day. Attendance is strong and students enjoy a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities, including long established clubs, new initiatives, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award from Year 9.

Choosing a school, or a place to work, is an important decision. I warmly encourage you to visit us, experience our vibrant daily life, and see for yourself what makes Frogmore such a special community. I am confident you will be impressed, and we look forward to meeting you.

Mrs Laura Goulborn
